locking blade so not EDC legal not even ish
basic knife and pliers personnally i would find a Locking SAC (without serrated blade) with SAW and a bottle opener more useful

but if your tripping over plier jobs all day guess it might be usfull

for the moenay i would get 3 x SAC and a pair of pliers

cheers duncan,
i find the SAKs pliers a bit flimsy though, i may get a leafterman juice for EDC, i have a charge TTI but its a bit heavy for day to day things.

I have a freestyle. Found it ok until it rusted all over in a matter of a couple of days (moving house). Had a wave in the same box... Not a hint of tarnish. Funny really.

Freestyle was a bit of a compromise that didn't quite work out for me. But up until I rusted it up, the blade was sharp out of the box and held an edge quite well. Sturdy and solid construction (for the price). Pliers were disappointing though because they weren't quite aligned correctly, only a hairs width out at the tips but enough to tick me off. Might have just been my particular one, so try it out in a shop if you can.

Sorry to have taken so long to reply to your post ...
