Default Swedish army

Hi guys
I am looking at buying a Swedish army axe from eBay as they seem a steal at 24 including P&P.
Just wondered if anyone here has one or can shed some light on there quality.
They come with either a 19" or 27" helve and the goverment crest on the head. No info on weight yet but I'm waiting for seller the reply on that.
Is it worth a punt?
Thinking il go with the 19" to make it easier to strap to my Bergen.

Cheers

Mike

You may come up trumps here, I seem to recall blokes buying some years back and they were made, IIRC, by Wetterlings.

It's a done deal me thinks, I got an M90 from the same seller a little while ago, is that what you got Bernie?

Going for the 19" version don't think I need the 27" for what il use it for.

I got a Swede Army Surplus one a good few years back for 8! It was Wetterlings made. Reprofiled it to a more Nortwest Co. Type pattern.

Anyway, I'd my one was owt to go by its gonna be a decent bit of kit.

It's used weekly here, when the stove is put to work.
