Default 'The Vote'

As a person born in England, with an Irish father, English mother and Scottish grand-parentage etc (A Douglas, no less, so always up for a scrap ).

Now the vote is in, just think how many matches will be saved in Glasgow now they can stop burning Union Flags!
Never expected to see this from our own folks, hope they feel proud today.

Glad it is over, however it did reach the point where I really hoped Scotland voted yes, primarily because of all the promises parliament have made.

I hope the promises made are spread equally across the entire United Kingdom, if not I'd be very happy if Scotland went their own way.
i.e. The Barnett formula....£1,600 per head more on Scottish folks than English folks.....thanks parliament, but no thanks, it should be equal footing across the UK.
The rest of the UK really has bent over and taken one for the team.

I wonder if America and Australia are quaking in their proverbial boots? Perhaps they should now devolve power back to the 'their' respective indigenous peoples. No?

There is always opportunity to build something greater, however! As a realist I see too many power hungry folks making the decisions.
English, Irish and Welsh devolution and finances, we also need a fair voice for the rest of the UK, if not, I'd certainly be happy to vote for a Union break up.

Next time, it should be the rest of the Union who vote to decide if they want Scotland in the Union.
At the end of the day, all we have seen is the 'illusion' of control.

The vote was rigged anyway Tom,we all new there was no way they'd let them leave the Union,to much in the background,Labour would loose over 40 MP's,so would never get a majority in Parliament again, plus The Royal family would lose Balmoral,it was never going to happen, theres vids now on Youtube of Vote rigging
