Default Little neck knife

I have not posted in ages so I thought I would get something done. I am off work just now due to a nasty little cut on my finger that went funny on me so I had to have a couple of ops to clean it out and repair the tendons. Just to keep myself busy I made a little neck knife for a project I am working on.

The knife is 6 inches overall (152mm) with a 2 1/8 inch (54mm) blade. The steel is 3mm thick O-1.

I had some desert tan kydex left for the sheath and some matching paracord. The handles are home made canvas micarta type material.

It has some thumb gimping on the spine and one of the groves has been enlarged to fit a 9mm ferro rod. (the size rods I use.) The blade is scandi ground and the handle has some steel showing out of the but which is hardened to make sparks with a flint. (small target I know) Tubes for pins mean it can be lashed to a pole.

Thanks for looking.

For one horrible moment I thought the first picture showed the knife and the finger. Its early in the morning where I am, too early in the morning.
I love the knife tho, its just about perfect in what it does and how it sets out to do it. Very Bauhaus!

The digital camo for the sheath was a good call.

Thanks for the comments, glad you like it.
I think the desert Cammo matches the home made micarta very well.
It has been made to fit inside a trangia mess tin diagonally, the tin will be a survival kit hence the functionality of the knife.
