Default Damascus family commission

Started this Blade on Friday from a billet twist of Damascus 36mm x 260mm x 4mm cut it down and ground as asked for scandi style HT and brought out the patton



Comments welcome good or bad

Forgot to ask - what's your call on a scandi grind, Mike? I get the feeling is bit easier to maintain for noobs like me?

Nice work Mike, those patterns really do jump out at you, you obviously gave it some thought when deciding how to cut the billet / place the knife blade outline

In my opinion Scandi grinds are good for bush crafty things and carving .keeping sharp is quite easy to do with a diamond sharpener like this

yes Mate it took me about 2 hours of marking out and cleaning off .till I felt it was right thanks so much for rushing it to me
