Em...that's stunning mate, once I saw that you were stocking brass sheets, folder making came into my mind!
You'll probably be getting an order from me in the future!
Just one question, Is the spring differentially tempered?

Hi Slammer....thanks for the feedback

Re the spring, not differential, piece of 5160 (Car spring) hardened then tempered in an oven at 300 C (Blue)....
The important bit is to not make the spring too thick or will be hard to open the blade

A little too much for the blade size
Had to put a nice deep nail nick in the blade to assist with opening.

It should ease with wear.

and a really good result, the blade seems a little shorter than the handle, but to be picky.
