Brilliant post, thanks for putting it up. Some graft gone into that knife.

I like doing as much hand work on my handles as possible too.

An excellent tutorial John
Making stuff in a confined space is bad enough, but trying to take pics at the same time is a real challenge.

Impressed with the non power tool aspect. Was this due to circumstance and now the preferred way?

That was just about how it started. I wanted a hobby I could start out with hand tools and work my way up. I enjoy it so much that I didn't work my way up.
