Default Axe head stamping

I was grinding all the muck and rust off of an old axe that used to be my grandfathers and came upon this stamping i want to preserve it, is there a way to polish up the axe and keep the stamping intact as much as possible?

Do you know or know of anyone who does laser engraving..?
They may be able to "deepen" the stamp..??

unfortunately i don't know anyone who does laser engraving maybe i should just avoid cleaning that area for a while till i get some idea of solution
